International Security Systems (U) Limited (ISS) is a Ugandan company providing a wide spectrum of security related services.
The company has a wide experience in security matters and business within Uganda and internationally.
It is also registered and licensed to conduct the following security services
Import and supply military equipment to the national security bodies
Biometric and finger printing for private security officers
Dealer for hand and short guns and ammunitions
A security training academy
Operate an Indoor Shooting Range, Pigeon Shooting and Archery facility
Investigations
Guard escort
Electronic alarms
Surveillance
Consultancy and Export labour from Uganda
To supply government security agencies, military, police and private security organizations
with equipment and accessories
To facilitate Ugandans access employment opportunities abroad at the best possible terms and
conditions
To train members of the general public in gun use and laws
To modernise the way in which biometric data is captured, stored, retrieved, interpreted and
utilised; and To form a Gun Club for recreation purposes as a way of stimulating the interest in leisure and
competitive shooting.
COMPANY OBJECTIVES
The company has the following objectives:
PAST PERFORMANCE
We have a running Frame Work Contract No. MD/SUPLS.2010-2011/00234 with the Ministry of
Defence and the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Force and with the Uganda Police Force under Frame
Work Contract No. UPF/SUPLS/2011-2012/0004 etc.
ISS won a contract from Greystone Company of the United States to provide security for an
American Artiste R. Kerry and his entourage on a performing visit to Uganda in January 2010;

We provide private guards for hire mainly to industrial and commercial properties but also to some
residential clients;
Our Company gets its supplies from three American Companies i.e.: Rothco, Quartermaster and
PowerBilt Steel Buildings Inc. and also from the Chinese Company called Xiamen Hifa StoneXP
Co. Ltd.
